While we still build capacity in the baking industry in the campaign of introducing Soy into baked products, we had seemingly done a lot of work within central Uganda and had not done too much up country. So under the WISHH funded Soy communication campaign, a team from SESACO carried out baking workshop in Soroti town where about 16 bakeries were represented.
During this same trip a cooking with Soy demo was carried out concurrently with the baking demonstration. The targeted audience on the cooking activity was Hotels, Restaurants and some schools. Some schools showed interest in having the team do a school lunch with TSP they would get it on board as their meal in the near future.
